I have to get this off my chest. I was very rude to three Italian tourists at Rocka Rolla in Williamsburg in October of 2020. It was a young straight couple and a third guy, all very attractive. My friends met you on the patio and I was inside getting absolutely hammered. I somewhat remember talking to you, but I can only recount how my friend recalls the story. At some point during the night, I came out onto the patio and just started making vaguely Italian noises at you. You were apparently very uncomfortable but I did it anyway. I was shouting nonsense words at you like "spuzzitini" and "duttivenza" and at least one of you wanted to hit me. One of you started yelling back at me in Italian and it started this sort of public argument. You were yelling in your native language, and by this point I was in full-on Peter Griffin mode, just repeating "boppity boopity?" over and over again. I know at least one person may have video taped our interaction. I want you to know that I'm sorry. You guys have more to be proud of than just your food. You were guests in my country and I let you down. I still think about you all. I hope you come back to NYC one day when it's safe enough.
