First off, it’s based in the Squid Game environment. Due to Squid Game recently being popular in meme culture, this is a good base. Then you have a bunch of video game characters that have been popular throughout the last decade. All of these characters are in completely different periods of time, some more popular than others. Some of these characters have appeared in memes before and as of lately. However, almost all of these characters have zero relations to each other. This means that it absolutely absurd that these characters are together and are participating in one of the Squid Game games. Even crazier, they’re all blocky like Minecraft characters are, making it even more absurd. This is what the viewer is stuck with at the very start of the video. They are participating in the game as you’d expect, but get this, Steve from Minecraft starts running at full speed towards the large female character. If you have seen any form of this game before, you know that running this fast is an equation for disaster. The absolutely stupidity of Steve’s decision making here is what makes it laughable. He also yells meme sounds as he runs. Due to how random it is for him to be yelling such completely random meme sounds during a situation like this is hilarious. These meme sounds being known to the viewer and being put into silly context makes it even more funny. To top it all off, he gets shot at the end. This was to be expected, but the fart reverb sound plays. The fart reverb sound is often used in random scenarios, but due to it being unexpected makes it funny to the viewer once it hits them that it was a funny fart sound.
